The SA People's Grid
Our energy should be powered by us! The community. Aaron Yew, founder of The People’s Grid created this collective to kickstart a movement towards shared, local, renewable energy. This way, his friends and family can enjoy the benefits of sourcing renewables from their own community.

Join our collective movement towards renewable energy
To provide 30 households with local, renewable, community energy.
With every household that signs up to this Collective, we’ll be one step closer to building our own renewable energy grid. We are the new energy builders. Collectives, and The People’s Grid as a whole, is a chance for people like you and I to make a real choice about where our energy comes from.
I strive for this tangible action to kickstart a movement towards more people joining the grid and reclaiming some of the power from the big energy retailers. In turn, we prioritise renewable energy and the health of our future.

Energy Allies
Members who switch to buy energy through The People’s Grid. Allies strengthen our grid and help us fund future energy and climate projects.

Global Impact
For the first time, households and small business customers have the option to build their own grid. That means directly buying and sharing energy from local, renewable energy producers. Find the energy generator that aligns with your values and vision, or sits close to heart and home.
